Eulogy

Caleb was born on August 18, 1987, in Panorama City, CA, to Brent and Jaynne Sanderson. Caleb was the second of six children.

Caleb grew up in Lancaster, CA. At the age of five, Caleb sat on the couch where his father explained the Bible way to heaven, and there Caleb put his faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

Caleb attended Lancaster Baptist School from grades 3-12, and graduated in 2005.

In May of 2007, Caleb served our country by joining the Army. He was deployed and served a year in Afghanistan during the five-year term.

From there, Caleb moved to San Diego with his brothers Aaron and Levi, where he had lived for the past two years. In this time, Caleb earned an Associate in Computer Science and was within three semesters of earning his Bachelor’s degree with honors.

Caleb and his five siblings were the best of friends. They did everything together whenever possible. Caleb was a selfless individual who constantly gave freely of his time, money, and resources to help anyone in need. If he saw a person struggling, he was by their side to lend a hand without needing to be asked. He was undoubtedly the “class clown,” and had an infectious, upbeat spirit. His laugh was contagious and comforting. He loved life and would commonly yell out in random places (in that goofy Caleb manner) “This is my life!” He made the best of every situation. He loved kids and kids loved him, and he was looking forward to being an uncle in September.

Caleb is proceeded in death by his grandfather, Robert E. Allen, and recently by his father, Brent D. Sanderson. He is survived by his mother, Jaynne Sanderson; his brothers, Aaron, Seth, Lei, and Jacob, and sister, Eden Sanderson; his grandmother, Nancy Allen, and grandparents, George and Joyce Sanderson.
